Ground cumin is wonderfully versatile, it adds a bold depth of flavour to pulses, beans and many other vegetarian ingredients. Cumin can be lightly toasted before cooking to release more of its amazing flavour, or simply sprinkled over dishes or salads before serving for an extra spice kick.

Cumin can be combined with ground coriander to give Indian food its characteristic aroma.  Try adding to Mexican dishes such as chilli con carne for authentic aromatic flavour, or simply mix in with vegetables, beans and pulses.

Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
